Those talented folks at Penumbric magazine have accepted one of Jack's short stories. Rocket Ship Temple Blues is a spin off from my old novel Zen City, Iso and features some its characters but reimagined with a strong retro sci-fi theme.
“Dark comedy set in an artificial noir world (think Bladerunner meets 1940s Thailand). Palm Trees is an ex-monk who has had a terrible premonition and must find his friend Bob before it’s too late.”
Rocket Ship should be published in Penumbric's October’s edition.
Jack has submitted a short story to another magazine and busy working on a third. They also have speculative elements and set in a retro sci-fi Thailand.
